Each participating school in Hong Kong can nominate up to three students per academic year for the scholarship. This ensures that nominated students are recognised by their schools for their outstanding academic performance and potential.
Nominated students must be in the top 10% of their class or year group. Schools should provide official transcripts or report cards to verify academic performance.
Eligible students must be currently enrolled in a primary or secondary school in Hong Kong. Applications are welcome from students attending both local and international schools.
(Local schools: Primary 1 to Form 6; international schools: Year 1 to Year 13 or equivalent.)
Nominated students should demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities, such as academic clubs, competitions, or leadership roles, to highlight their well-roundedness.
Nominated students must submit a personal statement (300-500 words for primary students and 500-800 words for secondary students) outlining their academic goals, achievements, and how the scholarship will assist in their educational journey.
Each nomination must be accompanied by a recommendation letter from the school principal, highlighting the student’s academic achievements and potential for future success.
